Thursday morning, May 3rd, 2018 at Health Sciences North, following a brief illness.

Beloved wife of Etienne (Buster) Bélanger, predeceased 1987. Sadly missed by her children Louise (Nat Polito) of Ottawa, and Phil (Carolyn Thain) of Sudbury and St. Charles, and her grandchildren Bruno (Caroline Murphy), Benjamin and Margot Polito and her dear sister Annette (Tom) Kennedy.

She will also be missed by many nephews, nieces and many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents D'Arcy Olivier and Emma Olivier (nee Bédard), her brothers and sisters Violette Olivier, Olive (Maurice) Arthur, Claude (Victoria) Olivier, Albert Olivier, Walter Olivier, Alfred (Beulah) Olivier, Laura (Art) Durkee, Cécile (Roland) Monroe, Leo (Anastacia) Olivier, Adolphe Olivier, Gloria (Joseph) Desjardins, Thérèse Senner, Josette Gaudet , and Prospère (Muriel) Olivier. Survived by her brothers-in-law Mel Senner and Alfred Gaudet.

Originally from Coniston, Emma was well known in the community for her clerk and treasury work at the Town of Coniston Municipal Office and her support of the Council. She continued her career at Brunton Browning Day and Partners and later at Ev-Lin Distributors. She was a devout Catholic and practiced her faith through compassion for others and respect for everyone.
