Passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph’s Villa
on Monday, June 11th, 2018 with family by her side.

Pat is survived by her husband, Lanny and three daughters Karen Royce currently residing in China, Nanci McNabb (Geoff) of Hanmer, and Susan Preiss (Randy) of Carleton Place. She was Granny to seven grandchildren: Clayton McNabb (Christine), Ben Royce (Kirstyn), Alex Royce, Kristy Bodson (Mike), Megan Cullum (Randy), and Chris Royce (Haley), and seven great grandchildren. Special sister to Jane Keown (Guy) and Rosemary Aubrey (Ron Aubrey predeceased) and predeceased by her step-brother Sheldon McCartney (Glen). Predeceased by her parents Harley and Gertrude Comerford. She will be missed by her many friends from Bell, the Sudbury Board of Education, VON, Trout Lake and Pescara Lake (Bradenton, Florida), whom she cherished and brought her lots of joy. In her early years, Pat was very active with the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON). For most of her career, she was the Secretary at Algonquin Road Public School, where she was active with the Pay Equity Council.

Friends may gather after 10:30 am on Friday.

Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with interment at a later date in the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
