JAMES ATMORE MURPHY

In loving memory of James (Jim) Atmore Murphy who passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Credit Valley Hospital Palliative Oncology.

Jim was born in Owen Sound, Ontario on September 30, 1947

He is survived by his loving wife Bev (Elliott) loving father of Michael Murphy, Susan Murphy, Richard Murphy (Elena)
Stepfather to Stephanie (Thomas)
Loving Grandfather to Thomas, peter, Stephen and Sean. Special step grandfather to Dariah.
Predeceased by his grandparents and parents in Owen Sound and his brother.

Cremation at St. Johns Dixie in Mississauga, Ontario.
Burial will be at the family plot at park lawn cemetery in Sudbury, Ontario next spring 2019. Date to be announced at a later time.

There was no visitation at Jim’s request. Jim will always be remembered as generous, loving caring person who was always there to help everyone. He was a long time member of the Walden Lions Club.
