It is with great sadness, Gail, Sandie, and Kent announce the death of their beloved mother on Nov 19, 2019. Loved by her daughter- in-law Laurie, granddaughter Taylor, great grandson Otis, of Ottawa, and many nieces and nephews throughout Canada and the US. Joyce married E.P. (Bill) Gardner in 1952, predeceased in 1986. Predeceased by her only sister Patricia Lichty in 2006. The family will be honouring Joyce’s request of no visitation or service. Interment of ashes and celebration of life will take place in the summer of 2020. Anyone wishing to make a donation in Joyce’s memory may do so to the Shriners Hospitals for Children-Canada 1003 Decarie Blvd. Montreal H4A 0A9 or to their IODE Chapter. The family would like to recognize the 4th floor staff at Extendicare York for their dedication and care they extended to our sweetheart of a mom.
