Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, January 12th, 2020 at Health Sciences North.
Beloved wife of Uuno Pilbacka predeceased in 2011. Loving Aiti of Marja-Liisa Mottonen predeceased in 2002 (husband Esa), Aila Ryan and Heikki Pilbacka (wife Sandra). Cherished Mummu Anna-Liisa (Steven), Landon (wife Angie), Rylan (Amy) and Kyler (wife Melissa), and great Mummu of Jacob and Ian. Predeceased by her parents Onni and Linda Timonen (nee Juhola) and siblings Usko and Elli all of Finland. She be sadly missed by her family and friends in Canada and in Finland.
The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctors at Health Sciences North for their care and especially Tina at Finlandia Village for going above and beyond and taking such great care of Aino.

She will be buried alongside her husband in the Waters Cemetery.
Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
