With loving hearts we announce the sudden passing of our dear Sister-in-Christ, Diane. She leaves behind her precious friend of 34 years, Pekka Pitkakangas. Also special friends, Antero and Terttu Laine, John Moore, Jorma and Tracy Hellberg and Susan Keskinen. Diane was a devoted member of the Abundant Life Church. She will be greatly missed by her church family. She had a close relationship with her friend and Pastor, Klaus Saari. She was a “Prayer Warrior.” Although she suffered from various health problems during the last few years of her life she prayed. She continuously lifted up her friends, church and any other concern, in prayer. She was happy, always smiling and loving. Diane lost her best friend and sister-in-Christ, Marjetta Hellberg recently. Those of us that knew them are comforted and joyful that they are re-united in Heaven with their Saviour. A special thank you to the kind staff at Pioneer Manor, who made sure she was well cared for and who gave her a good quality of life in her last few years. Funeral Service will be held in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury on Thursday, February 14th, 2019 at 3pm with a reception to follow. Friends may call after 1pm.
