In loving memory of John Arthurs who passed away Friday, November 29th, 2019 at his residence at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Jill Arthurs (Perfitt) predeceased and partner of Maxine McNamara. Loving father of Jennifer Arthurs and Amy Suchoplas (Darrell). Cherished grandfather of William Suchoplas. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Alberta (McGillivray) Arthurs. Dear brother to Dougie (Jackie), Ruth (Ralph), Alberta, Bobby (Heather), Howard (Beverly), Vivian and Isabella. Loved uncle to many nieces and nephews and sadly missed by his many friends. John loved the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening and was an avid curler.
Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home – Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer where friends may gather on Wednesday, December 4th, 2019 from 4-8pm. Burial of his ashes will take place at the Capital Memorial Gardens, Ottawa in the spring.
