71 years.
Passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 with his loving wife by his side.
Beloved Husband of 45 years to Teresa Poletti (nee Primerano). Devoted and proud Father of Steven (wife Gloria), Kathy Poletti and Anthony (fiancé Holly Moyle). He was the cherished and much loved Nonno of Lorenzo. Predeceased by his parents Costante and Caterina Poletti (nee Pasutto). Dear brother of Gladis Poletti.
Franco was a life member of the Caruso Club and the Alpini Club. He was a true handyman, and worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid soccer fan who enjoyed cheering on favorite team Inter Milan. He was always the life of the party. Franco was happiest when he was spending time with his family especially his grandson Lorenzo who brought him so much joy.
Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. A memorial mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Parish (19 Mary Street, Sudbury) on Thursday, February 27th, 2020 at 10:30 am. Friends may gather at the church after 9:45 am on Thursday. Entombment in the Civic Mausoleum. Donations to the family would be appreciated. Cheques can be made payable to Teresa Poletti. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
