The family announces with sorrow her death. She passed peacefully at her home, Thursday, July 2nd, 2020 at the age of 57 years. Daughter of the late Jean and Marie-Jeanne (nee Trottier) Joly. Beloved companion of Perry of Sudbury. Loving mother of her fur babies Rufus and Cameron. Dear sister of Fernand Joly (Paulette) of Val Caron, late Pauline Henry (Richard) of Sudbury, Diane Verrette (late Michel) of Serpent River, Claude Joly (late Ella) of Blezard Valley, Denise Levert (Michel) of Val Caron, Nicole Lefebvre (Romeo) of Stoney Creek. Special aunt beloved by all her nieces and nephews. The kindness and goodness of her heart won the affection of her loved ones and all who knew her. Fernande’s strong mind and will to live took her to the Special Olympics, won her gold medal, and took her to Portugal. She was our rock and our champion and will forever be in our hearts.
Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St, Sudbury. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Tuesday. Due to COVID-19 Pandemic directives, 50 people or fewer are permitted in the visitation room. Face masks are mandatory.) Funeral Mass in St. Jean de Brebeuf Church, 26 Kathleen St, Sudbury, Wednesday, July 8th, 2020 at 10am. Cremation with entombment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cerebral Palsy Association or Diabetes Canada, www.lougheed.org.
