Obituary for Wendell Gordon Tait
In Loving Memory of Wendell Gordon Tait, 75 years. Friday, July 10th, 2020 at his camp on Manitoulin Island. Beloved husband of 56 years to Anne (Cole) Tait. Loving father of Lori (Dan Wendler), predeceased by Cory. Cherished grandfather of Brittney, and predeceased by James. Dear son of Gordon and Ruth Tait both predeceased. Dear brother of Wanda, Bruce, Bob, and predeceased by Bill. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, and his trusted canine pal, Toby, who was at his side til the last.
Wendell was the proud longtime owner of Tait Electric, a respected and dedicated businessman. He enjoyed hunting and spending time at his camp. Wendell leaves a wonderful legacy of love as a great husband, devoted family man, and good friend.
At Wendell’s request, there will be no public service. A private family committal will be held at the Civic Memorial Cemetery. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, www.lougheed.org.
