Marlene Kilby (Beaton)
Our beautiful Marlene "Marnie" Kilby (nee Beaton)
passed away peacefully Friday, October 14th, 2016 from her earthly life.
She has joined previously departed family and friends, parents Clarence and Verna Beaton, sisters Floy Beaton and Carol Nolan. Dearest friends Joyce, Carmel, Margaret and Auntie Audrey. She is survived by her loving husband Bill Kilby, devoted children Lynne (James) and Doug and cherished grandchildren Will, Grace and Georgia. Sisters Rena Beaton, Toronto and Pat Waskalik (Jerry) Georgetown. Nieces Wendy, Judy and Carol. Nephews Eric, John, Michael, Richard and Michael. Marnie was born in Kirkland Lake and moved to Sudbury at an early age. Her numerous passions other than family were teaching, entertaining and being with people. She thrived on them. Countless good times with the Galway neighbours, Bridge and Knitting Ladies and family, Marnie often went the extra mile to demonstrate her love, caring and curious interest in the people in her life. Her legacy lives on in those who received it.
