December 31, 1926 - February 21, 2018
Predeceased by his beloved wife Joy (Carmichael) and son Charles. Son of John and Sophia (O’Hare) Lineham both predeceased. Survived by his loving daughters Victoria Garreau (husband Gord) and Elizabeth Desanti (husband Randy). Cherished grandfather of Rachael, Keith (wife Jen), Todd (wife Annie), Cara, and Catherine predeceased and great-grandfather of Isaak, Levi, Jenna, Astrid, Alyssa, Jacob, Hunter, and Tyson. Dear brother of Rose Poirier (Bill) both predeceased, Patricia Bryson (Jim predeceased), Dorothy Hooey (Bill predeceased), Marjorie Marcolini (Walter predeceased), Margaret Lesarge (Gerry predeceased), Betty Kay (Ken), Helen Cook (Gary), and Cely Pollesel predeceased (Bruno). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Born in Copper Cliff, Charles joined INCO at 16 and worked there until he retired as Superintendant of Maintenance at Matte Processing in 1983. Charles saw action overseas with the Algonquin Regiment, Fourth Division, in Holland and Germany. He raised his family in Lively, moving to Copper Cliff later. Charles loved his golf and socializing with his friends. A devout Roman Catholic, he actively participated in parish ministries and activities at St. Stanislaus, St. Patrick`s, and Our Lady of Hope Churches. A proud Canadian, he was President of both the Lively Legion and Copper Cliff Legion.

Our Lady of Hope Church

Tuesday, February 27th, 2018 at 10:30am.
Cremation with interment in the family plot at Park Lawn Cemetery.
(Friends may gather at the church after 10am Tuesday).
